Can I Carry your Purse?

March 21, 2008

Can I carry your purse miss?

I assure you there is nothing amiss.

Please take my load Doc,

Feels like I am carrying a rock.

This purse is heavy as heck.

Such a weight must be killing your neck.

Come to think, my neck is always sore.

Carrying that purse is quite a chore.

Let’s see; phone, checkbook, hairbrush, wallet,

Note pad, make-up, sewing kit and keys.

Doc, please understand the value of being prepared,

Even though my needs may be rare.

This purse must be lightened you know

Or you could experience pain from head to toe.

Whoa, head to toe, that is not for me.

I guess all I need is money and keys.

Being a woman does not have to be a curse.

You can start with weight loss for your purse.

  1. I love this! When my first daughter was born I carried a HUGE diaper bag, then when my second daughter was born I carried two diapers and a travel pack of wipes in a tiny little back pack. It felt so good to have both my hands free, to hold both of my children’s hands. In case of emergencies I kept a big diaper bag in the car with changes of clothes, snacks, etc.
